This role prepares and maintains complex revenue cycle reports that inform accounts receivable (AR) management and drive improvement initiatives. You will design, develop, and maintain analytic reports combining electronic health record (EHR) and third-party payer data, troubleshoot complex issues, and partner with stakeholders to integrate insights into workflows and AR strategy.

Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain actionable revenue cycle reports by combining EHR and third-party payer data.
• Create queries and dashboards (SQL, Excel, Tableau/Crystal or similar) to mine data and organize insights for AR teams.
• Serve as a super user for revenue cycle reporting tools; provide input and participate in system upgrades and enhancements.
• Lead improvement initiatives identified through reporting; recommend and track focus areas to optimize AR performance.
• Troubleshoot complex data and reporting issues; develop solutions, audit reports, and recommendations.
• Track KPIs and quality control metrics; monitor trends and report anomalies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data analysis into operational workflows and AR strategy.
• Simplify and present data clearly to enable timely decision-making.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience, and/or Credential Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Two years revenue cycle operations experience in finance, decision support, or related financial analysis background
OR
• Four years revenue cycle operations experience in a similar organization in finance, decision support, or related financial analysis background.
• Experience in report generation, data collection systems, and analysis.
• Experience with SQL, Excel, Tableau, Crystal, or similar business analytics tools.
• Certification through AAHAM, AHIMA, and/or HFMA preferred.
• Certified Professional Coder preferred.
Additional Qualifications:
• Current driver's license, acceptable driving record, and current auto insurance.
• Successful completion of background check (criminal record, driving record, abuse/neglect, and fingerprint check).
• Strong analytical, communication, and organization skills; ability to work effectively with leaders and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to complete required new hire orientation and annual training including Relias.
Physical Requirements
• Sedentary work: exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently to move objects.
