Job description

ANNOUNCEMENT
Southwestern Illinois College is accepting applications for part-time instructors for the Math department. Part-time instructors are hired on an as-needed basis. Your application will be placed in a pool for review as part-time teaching assignments become available.
POSITION DESCRIPTION
Part-time/adjunct faculty in Math and Computer Science are responsible for teaching the objectives for each Math course assigned, the assessment of student learning, and reporting of student progress as required by the college.
QUALIFICATIONS
Qualifications depend on the course taught. Please see below for minimum qualifications for the various courses taught in the Mathematics and Computer Sciences department.
A Master's degree or higher with at least 18 graduate semester hours in Mathematics is required for the following courses (These graduate hours in Mathematics must be above senior level and approved by the Math Department Chair.):

MATH 095, Mathematical Literacy
MATH 096, Elementary Geometry for College Students
MATH 097, Intermediate Algebra
