About the Role:
Mama Megan's Childcare LLC in Juliette, GA is looking for a warm, caring, and enthusiastic Assistant Childcare Teacher to join our team! This is a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young children in a nurturing and supportive environment. If you have a passion for early childhood education and love working with kids, we'd love to meet you!

Responsibilities:
  • Assist lead teachers in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities and lesson plans
  • Supervise and engage children in a safe, structured, and stimulating learning environment
  • Support children's social, emotional, and developmental growth throughout the day
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom and play areas
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding daily activities and child progress
  • Follow all childcare regulations, safety protocols, and center policies
  • Assist with feeding, nap time, and daily routines as needed
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED required; coursework in early childhood education is a plus
  • Previous experience working with young children in a childcare or educational setting preferred
  • Genuine passion for child development and early childhood education
  • Strong communication, patience, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to pass a background check and meet state childcare licensing requirements
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
  • Reliable, punctual, and a true team player
