What you'll do:
  • AP Operations: Review, code, and process vendor invoices with a high degree of accuracy. Reconcile vendor statements and research any billing discrepancies.
  • Data & Reporting: Utilize advanced Excel functions to clean, organize, and analyze financial data for month-end reporting.
  • QBO Maintenance: Assist with data entry and categorization in QuickBooks Online, ensuring transactions match internal records and receipts.
  • Expense Tracking: Audit employee expense reports to ensure compliance with company policies and accurate general ledger (GL) mapping.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the finance team with digital filing, audit preparation, and special ad-hoc accounting projects as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Excel Proficiency: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: An analytical mindset with a sharp eye for spotting discrepancies, data entry errors, or mismatched numbers.
  • Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills for professional interaction with internal team members and external vendors.

Preferred (A Big Plus):
  • QuickBooks Online: Prior experience navigating, entering data, or pulling reports within QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Prior Experience: Previous office or administrative experience, specifically dealing with accounts payable or basic bookkeeping.

What You Will Gain
  • Direct mentorship from experienced accounting and finance professionals.
  • Real-world, resume-building experience utilizing industry-standard platforms (QuickBooks Online, advanced Excel layouts).
