Job Description
Zapit Solutions LLC is looking for a Bookkeeper - CategorizationSpecialist to join our team. This role is responsible foraccurately categorizing and reconciling financialtransactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Xero for our clients.
This is a non-client-facing role, but you will communicatewith clients via our secure bookkeeping portal to requestmissing receipts, clarify transactions, and follow up on invoices.There are no phone calls required-all client communicationis conducted via written messages.
Key Responsibilities
  • Categorize and reconcile financial transactions in QuickBooksOnline (QBO) and Xero.
  • Request missing receipts or supporting documents through thebookkeeping portal.
  • Identify and flag inconsistencies, duplicate transactions, or errors.
  • Communicate with clients (via portal messaging only) to clarifytransactions and resolve discrepancies.
  • Ensure financial records are complete, accurate, and up to date.
  • Follow standardized bookkeeping workflows and compliance policies.

Requirements
Certifications (Required or Willingness to Obtain Before ClientWork Begins)
  • QuickBooks Online Level Two ProAdvisor Certification
  • Xero Certification
  • Payroll Certification (QBO Payroll or Xero Payroll)

If you do not yet hold these certifications but have the knowledgeand skills, we will work with you to obtain them before you beginworking with clients.
Additional Requirements
  • One or more years of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, ortransaction categorization.
  • Proficiency in QBO and Xero beyond basic usage.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently while following structured workflows.
  • Excellent written communication skills (all client interactionsare written through the portal).
  • Experience in financial reconciliation, accountspayable/receivable, or expense tracking is a plus.
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
  • This position is primarily sedentary-most tasks areperformed while sitting at a desk using a computer.
  • Minimal lifting (up to five pounds) may be required foroccasional office-related tasks.
  • A dedicated workspace with a reliable internetconnection is required. (Reimbursement up to $75 per month provided.)
