Job Brief

Vision Equipment and Auction Company, Inc., a worldwide supplier of fixtures and equipment to the foodservice industry, is seeking a motivated and detail‐oriented candidate to join our e‐commerce team. We are looking for a full‐time or part‐time assistant to support daily operations across our online sales channels. The ideal applicant can work independently or within a small team, maintain a smooth workflow, and bring a positive attitude to our enjoyable work environment.

This role includes customer service interaction, inventory control responsibilities, and hands‐on eBay listing work. For the right candidate, this position offers strong growth potential, including the opportunity to advance into a commission‐based sales role as responsibilities expand.

Responsibilities (may include but are not limited to):

  • Photographing inventory for eBay and other online selling platforms
  • Basic photo editing and preparing images for listings
  • Listing and accurately describing foodservice equipment and supplies
  • Managing customer inquiries, providing excellent customer service, and assisting buyers as needed
  • Monitoring inventory levels, organizing stock, and helping maintain accurate inventory records
  • Working independently to complete daily tasks and meet listing goals
  • Gathering product information through databases and online research
  • Entering item data into our backend inventory system
  • Reviewing similar online listings to ensure accuracy and competitive positioning
  • Supporting e‐commerce operations with additional tasks as needed

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Knowledge of selling on eBay is a plus but not required
  • Basic photography and photo‐editing skills preferred
  • Ability and willingness to learn new systems and processes
  • Comfortable working independently and in a small team environment

Job Specifics:

  • Full‐time at 36 hours per week (Closed Friday–Sunday)
  • Potential for increased hours based on performance
  • Starting pay: $16.00 hourly + Per‐Listing Bonus Over Weekly Quota, with additional room for growth
