Oncor Electric Delivery Company LLC, headquartered in Dallas, is a regulated electricity transmission and distribution business that uses superior asset management skills to provide reliable electricity delivery to consumers. Oncor (together with its subsidiaries) operates the largest transmission and distribution system in Texas, delivering power to nearly 4 million homes and businesses and operating more than 144,000 miles of transmission and distribution lines in Texas.
Position Summary
The incumbent has the accountability for, invoice processing, Purchasing Card reconciliation and will also be expected to produce routine reports for team meetings. The incumbent will also be responsible for assisting in the training of others on expense reports, Purchasing Card (P-Card) documentation, as well as other duties assigned, as needed, to provide support to the Transmission Construction Management (TCM) team.
Key Roles & Responsibilities
Other duties may be assigned. Directly or through others, the incumbent:
  • Processing of invoices on a monthly basis.
  • Participate in the training of new team members regarding expense report entry.
  • Consolidate monthly expense reports and verify expenditure account classification and approval. Resolve discrepancies, reconcile statements, and verify account distribution.
  • Order and oversee office supplies.
  • Reconcile Purchasing Cards monthly.
  • Arranges room accommodations for personnel attending meetings and training sessions.
  • Track fleet vehicle maintenance, including tracking monthly mileage, oil changes, registrations, and toll tags.
  • Performs all essential aspects and functions of the job as well as any other specific job requirements.
Skills
  • Ability to communicate directly, specifically, and constructively, both verbally and in writing.
Education and Experience
  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years secretarial or administrative support experience is required.
  • Basic knowledge of Oncor Electric Delivery operations, policies and procedures.
  • Applicants with knowledge and skill in the use of Financial Management System (FIM) are encouraged to apply.
  • Proficient in use of office applications such as Excel, Word, PowerPoint,Outlook, and Smartsheet.

  • Self-driven requiring minimal supervision.
  • Team player with good interpersonal skills.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships in and outside of TCM.
  • High degree of accuracy in assigned tasks and normal duties along with timely completion of duties.
