Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Program Manager to lead a multi-disciplinary IT team supporting enterprise-level technology operations for a federal government client. You will serve as the primary point of contact between our delivery team and government stakeholders, driving execution, performance accountability, and compliance across a complex IT support program.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead overall program planning, execution, and performance reporting for a complex federal IT support contract
• Serve as primary client-facing representative ensuring clear, proactive communication with government stakeholders
• Develop and maintain comprehensive program documentation including project schedules, risk registers, staffing plans, and management plans
• Oversee monthly status reporting and prepare executive-level briefings for senior leadership
• Manage personnel transitions, key personnel changes, and onboarding with no degradation of service
• Coordinate across technical disciplines including application administration, cybersecurity, database management, and software development
• Ensure all contract deliverables are submitted on time, accurately, and in required format
• Manage software license renewal tracking and procurement coordination
• Support transition-in and transition-out activities to ensure continuity of operations
Required Qualifications
  • U.S. Citizenship required
  • Security Clearance: minimum T3 required
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT program management
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary IT teams in federal government or DoD environments
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies
  • Experience managing deliverables and performance in compliance with federal contract requirements

Preferred Qualifications
• PMP (Project Management Professional) certification
• Experience with DoD contract management, DFARS compliance, and federal acquisition regulations
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, or similar ITSM/ticket management platforms
• Knowledge of DoD Risk Management Framework (RMF) and NIST 800-37
