We are seeking a KYC / Onboarding Lead to work with a leading alternative investments firm in this client-facing role, where you will be leading and managing all aspects of the KYC and onboarding processes, including oversight of a small team, management of workflows, and driving operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
  • Manage multiple client requests, while ensuring timely completion of all deliverables.
  • Evaluate scope of work and project plans, providing recommendations for process enhancements and improvements.
  • Manage relationships with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
  • Prepare project trackers and lead client meetings to provide updates on team progress, milestones achieved, and challenges encountered.
  • Prepare and present regular reports on team performance, project status, and key metrics.
  • Identify and resolve gaps in processes and project execution.
  • Foster long-term relationships with existing clients, key business partners, and other stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a strong ability to adapt and become an expert on proprietary products and client business lines through complex engagements.
  • Navigate new requirements with clients to strategise and implement new workflows and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and internal controls.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and implement process improvements as needed.
  • Supervise, coach, and develop team members to maximise performance and professional growth.
  • Set clear goals, provide ongoing feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.

Requirements
  • 3-5 years of relevant professional experience, including at least 1-2 years in a supervisory or team lead role.
  • Familiarity with KYC constitutional documents, including onboarding processes.
  • Ability to handle pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
  • Excellent analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication skills with exceptional presentation expertise.
  • Understanding of financial services firms and investment management operations.
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills with a focus on quality and process.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members at both senior and junior levels.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills preferred.
