Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist

We're looking for a creative, energetic, and self-motivated Social Media & Content Marketing Specialist to help share those stories with the world. If you're passionate about visual storytelling, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and love creating engaging content that inspires people to travel, this may be the perfect opportunity for you.

This full-time, salaried position reports to the Marketing Manager and works closely with every department across the resort to showcase the Treetops experience.

What You'll Do

You'll serve as the voice behind much of Treetops' digital presence by creating authentic, engaging content that captures the excitement, beauty, and hospitality of the resort.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop, capture, edit, and publish engaging content across social media, email marketing, websites, blogs, and other digital platforms.

  • Capture photography and video highlighting golf, skiing, lodging, dining, spa experiences, special events, weddings, conferences, outdoor recreation, and employee culture.

  • Produce short-form video content including Instagram Reels, TikToks, Facebook videos, YouTube Shorts, and promotional videos.

  • Plan and maintain the resort's content calendar, balancing seasonal campaigns, promotions, guest experiences, and real-time storytelling.

  • Design digital marketing assets including social graphics, email graphics, website imagery, promotional flyers, signage, event materials, and branded collateral.

  • Assist in developing and executing paid social media campaigns that support occupancy, golf, ski, dining, events, and resort initiatives.

  • Collaborate with department leaders to identify stories, promotions, guest experiences, and behind-the-scenes moments worth sharing.

  • Attend resort events, tournaments, festivals, weddings, and activities to capture live content.

  • Monitor social media engagement, respond appropriately when assigned, and identify emerging trends and opportunities.

  • Track campaign performance and provide recommendations using analytics and engagement data.

  • Organize and maintain the resort's digital library of photography, video, graphics, and creative assets.

  • Ensure all marketing materials reflect Treetops Resort's brand standards and commitment to exceptional guest experiences.

  • Assist with additional marketing and creative projects as assigned.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is equal parts storyteller, creator, marketer, and brand ambassador.

Qualifications include:

  • Bachelor's degree inMarketing, Communications, Digital Media, Graphic Design, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.

  • One to three years of experience in social mediamarketing,contentcreation, digitalmarketing, hospitalitymarketing, or a related creative field.

  • Strong photography and videography skills.

  • Experience producing and editing engaging short-form video.

  • Graphic design experience using Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar platforms.

  • Working knowledge of Meta Business Suite, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn, YouTube, Pinterest, and emerging social platforms.

  • Experience with social media scheduling and analytics tools.

  • Familiarity with emailmarketingplatforms and websitecontentmanagement systems is preferred.

  • Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Strong project management and organizational abilities.

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across multiple departments.

  • Flexibility to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays for events andcontentcapture.

  • Comfortable working outdoors year-round in a variety of weather conditions.
