Location: Sacramento, Elk Grove, CA
Pay Rate: $21.75/hour

On-Call OFFICER -

Company Overview:
SPADE Security Services is a veteran-owned, sustainability-awarded security provider committed to delivering professional, reliable, and customer-focused protection. We are seeking Security Guards to join our team for the in Sacramento CA.

Position Summary:
As a SPADE Security Guard, you will ensure the safety and security of staff, and property. You will monitor entrances and exits, patrol assigned areas, assist with escalated behaviors, and respond to incidents in a calm and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Vehicle Patrol Position Plus Foot Patrol for Retail Locations

  • Monitor access control points, gates, and restricted areas

  • Provide directions and courteous assistance to tenants, vendors and guests

  • Enforce site rules and regulations in a professional manner

  • Observe for safety hazards or suspicious activity and report promptly

  • Respond to emergencies and assist in evacuations if needed

  • Maintain a visible security presence to deter unwanted activity

  • Work closely with staff, law enforcement, and emergency responders

Requirements:

  • Must have 1-year Documented security guard experience

  • Must have 40-hours of completed training (verifiable)

  • Must be 18 years or older

  • Valid California BSIS Guard Card (required)

  • Previous law enforcement, or military experience preferred but not required

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods in outdoor conditions

  • Professional appearance and demeanor

  • Ability to work evenings, weekends, and extended hours during events

Shift Information:

  • Multiple shifts available (daytime, evening, and late night)

  • Opportunity for future events and ongoing security work with SPADE Security Services

Compensation:

  • $21.75/hour, paid weekly

  • Eligible for quarterly bonus
