Position: On-Call Registered Nurse (RN) – Weekend Night Shift
Schedule: 7PM-7AM Sat & Sun


Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate On-Call RN to join our hospice team. The ideal candidate will provide after-hours support to hospice patients and families, responding promptly to calls, triaging needs, and making home visits as required to ensure the highest quality of care.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide on-call hospice nursing support during night hours.

  • Conduct home visits for urgent patient needs, symptom management, or pronouncement of death.

  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary hospice team to ensure continuity of care.

  • Document all patient interactions accurately and in a timely manner.

  • Offer emotional and clinical support to patients and families in crisis situations.

Qualifications:

  • Current, active RN license in the State of Texas.

  • Minimum of one year of nursing experience (hospice or palliative care preferred).
