Job description

We are looking to hire a dedicated and observant Interstate Maintenance/Traffic Control Technician.
To be successful in this position you should have excellent communication skills and be able to work effectively as part of a team. Ultimately, a top-notch Technician should demonstrate sound knowledge of state traffic regulations, as well as have exceptional observation, organizational and problem-solving skills
We have entry level positions open.
Traffic Control experience preferred.
Responsibilities:
Servicing an Interstate general maintenance & incident response contract.
Day to day activities include but are not limited to, driving TMAs & Pickups to perform the following tasks on the interstate,
-Remove debris
-Pothole repair
-Cutting trees
-Removing dead animals
-Litter pickup
-Working as part of a team.
-Working in harsh weather conditions.
Incident Response:
Providing traffic control for emergency responders on the interstate 24/7.
-Setting up shoulder/lane closures
-Shutting down on/off ramps
-Shutting down the interstate
-Marking damage
-Cutting guardrail
On call rotation, week on, week off.
Storm standby during adverse weather events.
