The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is in the famed Deer Valley ski resort and approximately 40 minutes from the Salt Lake City International Airport. The Grand Hyatt Deer Valley Hotel is part of a new development, planned to incorporate 17 ski lifts, ±1,600 residential units, 8 hotels with a total of ±1,350 rooms, ±250,000 square feet of conference and retail space, and one of the largest "ski beaches" in the world.

Position Summary:
We're looking for an enthusiastic and guest-focused Recreation Attendant to join our team. This role is all about creating fun, engaging experiences for guests of all ages - from setting up activities to sharing local adventure tips. You'll also play a key role in building relationships with community partners and being a friendly, visible presence in our lobby and recreation areas. Part-time. Shifts may vary based on programming and guest needs.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the setup, breakdown, and facilitation of daily recreational activities, games, and seasonal events.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and approachable manner, encouraging participation and answering questions about programming.
  • Act as a lobby ambassador, promoting upcoming activities and helping guests get excited about what's happening on property.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in all recreation spaces.
  • Build and maintain local partnerships with outfitters, guides, and vendors to enhance guest offerings and support community engagement.
  • Provide basic information about nearby trails, parks, and outdoor experiences - no deep concierge knowledge required.
  • Support the Recreation and Guest Services teams with additional tasks as needed.
