Job description

Join our established team in Flower Mound, Texas, as a Hospital Medicine Physician Nocturnist, focusing on delivering exceptional patient care during nighttime hours. This role offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on the community while working within a collaborative environment. We are seeking a dedicated professional eager to grow their career in a place that values teamwork and community.

Practice Info

  • Well-established team at Texas Health Presbyterian Flower Mound of 8 physicians and one advanced practice provider (APP), with the support of a clinical performance nurse, a clinical performance associate, and a group coordinator.
  • Work alongside a diverse group of professionals with backgrounds from all over the world.
  • Integral part of our hospital community and a valued strategic partner, maintaining great relationships with hospital leadership and other physician groups.
  • Focus on managing cases in an open ICU environment with on-call intensivist coverage.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cases in an open ICU environment with on-call intensivist coverage, without the expectation of performing procedures or running codes.
  • Average of 9-12 admissions at night with 10-15 cross coverage calls.

Compensation

  • Day Shift Rate is $1450, and Night Shift Rate is $1753.
  • Full-time nocturnist working 182.5 shifts per year with a base compensation of $319,923.
  • Eligible for up to $20,000 from the RVU bonus and $20,000 from the Quality bonus (annual).

Benefits

  • Full Benefits to include 401K and CME allowance.

Shift & Schedule

  • Full-time Nocturnists follow a 7-night-on, 7-night-off rotation.
  • 12-hour shift, 7 pm-7 am.

Requirements

  • Comfortable with a nocturnal schedule and possess the ability to deliver exceptional patient care during nighttime hours.
  • Board-certified/eligible in family or internal medicine.
