Job description

Job Overview
Here at Fairview, we are now seeking a Site Pacs Admin to join our imaging team at Ridges Hospital in Burnsville, MN! This is a 1.0 FTE (80 hours per 2 weeks) position that will work Monday through Friday from 8AM - 4:30PM with an on-call rotation.
This role is responsible for administering the day-to-day operations of the Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and acts as a liaison and member of the IT Imaging team. PACS Adminstrators report to the Imaging Services Manager but may receive general direction from the Director of Imaging, Chief Radiologist and the IT Imaging Support Manager. The individual is responsible for oversight and coordination of existing and new PACS and digital imaging initiatives. This person is also responsible for mantaining and ordering diagnostic workstation hardware and troubleshooting modality PACS communication configurations.
Required Qualifications
  • 2 year technical degree or 2 years experience in a PACS Admin or IT position

Preferred Qualifications
  • 5 years clinical radiology experience with technical DICOM experience Strong IT networking background
