We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Fairmont Olympic as our new FT George Restaurant Food Expeditor! Are you passionate about delivering exceptional service and ensuring a seamless operation? We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Full-Time Expeditor at the George. If you have a strong work ethic, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to creating an unforgettable guest experience, we'd love to have you on board!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily set-up & tear-down expeditor station
  • Keep station organized at all times
  • Act as a liaison between the front-of-house and the culinary team
  • Know all the components and presentation of each dish
  • Adjust final presentation/garnish as per spec
  • Communicate allergies & dietary preferences to the culinary team
  • Communicated VIP guests to Culinary
  • Ensure orders are correct and sent to the correct table
  • Run food alongside the food-runner as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness as per standards
  • Keep record of daily fridge temperature logs
  • Maintain stock & organization of all FOH coolers
  • Refill butter, ketchup, syrup (and other condiments)
  • Fill out AM requisition sheets for produce & dry goods as per established par
  • Pick-up requisitions from storeroom as needed
  • Keep counts of low-stock items and update colleagues and POS system
  • Assist Server Assistants in between peak-times as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
