Job description

Senior Cloud Administrator (Okta) Washington, DC – 100% ONSITE Per Federal contract U.S. Citizenship Required Must be able to pass enhanced background screen (criminal, financial, drug) for Public Trust clearance W-2 or C2C Application Deadline: 7/30/2026 We are seeking two Senior Cloud Administrators to join our team in managing and advancing our Okta Identity Platform. This is a high-impact role where you'll directly contribute to the security posture and operational excellence of the Federal Reserve Board's identity infrastructure. You'll have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge identity technologies while supporting enterprise impacting initiatives at one of the nation's most important financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: • Administer and maintain Okta • Integrate applications with Okta IdP (SAML, OIDC, OAuth) • Configure and manage authorization servers, API access and group access • Build and maintain authentication/authorization policies • Troubleshoot SSO issues, user access problems, and integration failures • Implement MFA and adaptive authentication rules • Document configurations and processes Required Skills & Qualifications: Technical Skills: • 5+ years hands-on Okta administration experience • Strong knowledge of SSO protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC) • Experience with Okta Workflows • Understanding of identity governance and security best practices • Ability to work independently and respond to support requests Professional Skills: • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with systematic problem-solving approach • Strong documentation skills with ability to create clear technical documentation • Effective communication skills for working with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Customer service orientation with commitment to operational excellence • Experience working in highly regulated environments (financial services, healthcare, or government) Preferred Qualifications: • Okta Professional Certification • Experience with REST APIs and scripting (PowerShell, Python) • Knowledge of DevSecOps practices and security automation • Experience with Terraform or other infrastructure-as-code tools • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other ITSM platforms #M1 #LI-VH1 Ref: #851-Rockville-S1
