Role Summary:
Reporting to the Coordinator, Event Operations and Retail; The Street Team is an energetic group who are passionate about and committed to promoting the Bakersfield Condors. Their primary responsibility is to represent the Bakersfield Condors brand at home games through pregame plaza activations and a variety of community events.
Your Focus in this Role:
  • Execute engaging pregame activations throughout Condor's home games, including assembling and disassembling simple promo booths/ and providing entertainment for attendees

  • Engage with Condors fans, staff, and partners in a variety of circumstances, driving positive association with the brand through a service-oriented mindset
  • Lift and transport promotional materials weighing up to 75 pounds
  • Create a positive first impression and engage with fans of all ages
  • Represent the Bakersfield Condors professionally at community events and promotional appearances
  • Perform other tasks, projects, and responsibilities as assigned

Education, Experience, and Skills:
  • Knowledge of hockey and/or Condors events will be considered an asset
  • Able to perform mildly strenuous activity for several hours at a time
  • Superior interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Positive, energetic and professional attitude
  • Passion for the sports and entertainment industry
  • Schedule flexibility to work game nights; will be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays based on AHL schedule
  • Access to a vehicle and a motor vehicle license (or ability to obtain one prior to employment

Compensation:
This role is budgeted to start at $16.90
