Job description

Job Description:-

We have been in business for over 20 years and continues to set new standards in the apparel industry. We serve as a trusted partner to premium corporate brands, resorts, professional sports, music and entertainment markets. We create unique, comfortable, and trend-right apparel that embodies freedom, courage, and passion. We're a full-service lifestyle apparel brand delivering unique products backed by our 100% comfort guarantee.

The Key Account Executive is a relationship-driven sales role focused on growing revenue with our existing NBA, WNBA, and NHL team shop accounts. This person owns a book of established team shop buyer relationships and is responsible for retaining the business, expanding product category penetration, and driving year-over-year growth across each account. The Key Account Executive works in partnership with a dedicated Account Coordinator (handling order entry and operational support) and an Account Manager (supporting day-to-day buyer communication), allowing the Key Account Executive to focus on strategic selling, buyer relationships, and growth planning.

This is a full-time on-site role based in our Tempe, AZ office. 10-15% travel annually is required for buyer meetings, market trips, and league events. All candidates must complete the Aptive Talent Assessment to be considered for this role. If you have a track record of growing existing accounts, thrive on building deep buyer relationships, and want to sell into one of the most exciting categories in licensed apparel, this role is for you.

Who You Are for the Team - Account Executive:-

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B sales, account management, or wholesale account development. Experience selling into team shops, retail buyers, or licensed/branded apparel strongly preferred.

  • Proven track record of growing existing accounts year-over-year, expanding product categories, and consistently hitting or exceeding revenue and performance metrics.

  • Strong understanding of the wholesale sales cycle, seasonal buying calendars (fall, spring, hot market, quick turn), and how to build a strategic plan for each account.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication. Confident presenting to buyers, walking through line plans, and leading seasonal review and planning conversations.

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail. Able to manage a book of accounts, prioritize across competing deadlines, and keep internal partners aligned.

  • Skilled at building rapport. Knows how to listen, ask the right questions, tell the story, and translate buyer needs into product and ROI conversations.

  • Resilient, composed, and solutions-oriented. Stays calm through hiccups and creates confidence for the buyer.

  • Tech and CRM proficient. Comfortable in Google Suite, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and CRM tools. Zoho experience a plus.

  • Experience in apparel, screen print, or licensed product is strongly preferred. Familiarity with NBA, WNBA, or NHL team shop business is a significant plus.

  • Able to travel 15% annually for assigned accounts.

How You Will Contribute - Key Account Executive

  • This is a relationship-driven, consultative sales role focused on growing existing NBA, WNBA, and NHL team shop accounts.

  • Own and grow a book of established team shop buyer relationships across the NBA, WNBA, and NHL.

  • Drive revenue growth, account retention, and new product category penetration across every account in the book.

  • Build and execute a strategic account plan for each team, including seasonal line reviews, growth targets, and category expansion opportunities.

  • Lead buyer-facing sales conversations: pitching new product, presenting line plans, negotiating deals, and closing seasonal bookings.

  • Manage fall bookings, spring bookings, hot market, and quick turn opportunities throughout the season.

  • Partner closely with your dedicated Account Coordinator on order entry and operational follow-through, and with your Account Manager on day-to-day buyer communication, so you can stay focused on strategic selling and growth.

  • Deliver a white-glove experience to every buyer through proactive communication, fast follow-up, and tight collaboration with Sales Support, Production, and Design.

  • Work closely with Sales Leaders on key house accounts and league-level strategy.

  • Analyze sell-in and sell-through data to track account performance, identify trends, and develop actionable insights that inform seasonal strategy.

  • Continue to evolve in the role by embracing feedback, sharpening product knowledge, and deepening your category expertise.

The Key Account Executive has the opportunity to own and grow some of the most exciting accounts in licensed sports apparel, with a clear path to advancement for someone who embraces our core values, drives results, and takes on new challenges.

Our people are our passion, and we invest back into our team. We incorporate our core values of teamwork, can-do attitude, integrity, respect, evolve, and fun into everything we do. In addition to a community of awesome people, you'll also receive:

  • Comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, and HSA

  • 4% 401K match

  • Generous PTO and sick time including birthday PTO

  • 11 paid holidays annually

  • Continuous learning, wellness, and professional development
