Job description

An international food distributing company is currently seeking Chinese & English Bilingual Sales Representative to support their operations in the Baton Rouge, LA FL area. You will communicate with local restaurants and grocery stores to develop new opportunities and maintain current business. This is a full-time, direct hire position.


Chinese & English Bilingual Sales Representative Responsibilities:

  • Visit restaurants and grocery stores in the area to develop new business opportunities and build good relationship
  • Create catalog and other materials to present the food items
  • Learn about the products and seasonal trends to keep updated of the industry
  • Perform data entry for inventory and shipping schedule
  • Other duties as assigned


Chinese & English Bilingual Sales Representative Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Ability to speak Chinese and English
  • Working experience in food, restaurant industry is a plus
  • Interest in Asian foods and cuisine is a plus
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities
  • Be able to use Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, PowerPoint etc.)
  • Must have valid driver’s license
  • This position is in an office work environment. While performing the duties of this job you may be required to intermittently sit, stand, walk, lift up to 25 pounds, lift in excess of 25 pounds with a lift assist, climb stairs, use hands to handle or feel parts/equipment, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, bend at the waist, talk and hear. You may also be required to use close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
