We're seeking a highly skilled Automation Field Engineer to lead commissioning and startup of cutting-edge automation systems in the dynamic environment of Kermit, TX. If you thrive under pressure, excel in PLC programming, and enjoy hands-on field work, this opportunity is your next career leap!
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience in oil and gas automation.
  • Minimum of 2 years in field commissioning or controls engineering.
  • Advanced expertise in PLC programming with Allen-Bradley platforms, including PlantPAx systems.
  • Strong skills in HMI development using FactoryTalk View SE/ME.
  • Extensive experience in field implementation, including loop checks, functional testing, and system startup validation.
  • Robust troubleshooting abilities across control systems, networking, and instrumentation.
  • Familiarity with oil and gas production processes and industrial communication protocols like Ethernet/IP, Modbus, serial, and wireless.
