What You'll Bring:
  • Minimum of 3+ years of hands-on experience in oil and gas automation, instrumentation, or controls
  • Deep knowledge of oil and gas facility process equipment and automation system design
  • Advanced expertise with PLCs, HMIs, RTUs, EFMs, and POCs (such as Allen-Bradley, Totalflow, ROC, Coriolis)
  • Proficiency in digital and analog I/O, loop commissioning, and facility startup procedures
  • Skilled in troubleshooting, calibration, and maintenance of temperature, pressure, level, and flow instrumentation
  • Experience with pneumatic instrumentation calibration and maintenance
  • Familiarity with Management of Change (MOC) and Pre-Startup Safety Review (PSSR) processes
  • Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership capabilities
  • Knowledge of automation host systems and industrial control networks
  • Proficiency with test equipment like Fluke 789, HART Communicator, and radio communication software
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams)
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record and commitment to maintaining safety certifications

Nice to Have:
  • Design review experience and familiarity with Process Hazards Analysis (PHA) and Process Hazard Review (PHR)
  • Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams on safety and process improvements

Preferred Education and Experience:
  • Technical degree or equivalent in instrumentation, controls, or related field
  • 3+ years of direct experience in oil and gas automation projects

Other Requirements:
  • Willingness to work on a 14/14 rotation schedule in Kermit, TX
  • Ability to travel and work in field environments as needed
