Wipro's Energy Manufacturing and Resources sector is seeking an experienced Sales Director to lead new logo acquisition and revenue growth for Oil & Gas industry. This role is focused on building executive-level relationships, originating and closing large, complex deals, and developing long-term, strategic client partnerships.
The ideal candidate is a proven hunter with a strong industry network and a track record of scaling high-value accounts. The role carries a revenue growth expectation of $10-20M annually within two years.
What You'll Do
  • Build and deepen CXO-level relationships, positioning Wipro as a trusted strategic advisor.
  • Originate, pursue, and close new business opportunities within the Oil & Gas sector, targeting large, high-quality accounts.
  • Understand client business challenges and shape differentiated, outcome-driven solutions leveraging the best of Wipro's offerings.
  • Drive growth through large, complex, multi-service deals with long-term potential.
  • Leverage alliances, cloud, digital, and partner ecosystems to develop joint value propositions.
  • Collaborate closely with delivery and account teams to ensure seamless transition and high customer satisfaction.

  • 15+ years of IT services sales experience, including 5+ years in the Oil & Gas sector.

  • Consistent achievement of sales targets in complex, solution-based selling environments.
  • Strong understanding of client business strategies and their technology implications.
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence and engage C-suite stakeholders.

The expected compensation for this role ranges from $150,000.00 to $210,000.00.
Final compensation will depend on various factors, including your geographical location, minimum wage obligations, skills, and relevant experience. Based on the position, the role is also eligible for Wipro's standard benefits including a full range of medical and dental benefits options, disability insurance, paid time off (inclusive of sick leave), other paid and unpaid leave options.
