Position Overview:
As a LPN or MA, you will need to be patient focused, organized, and comfortable working with children and families while assisting both clinical and administrative responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Provides clinical support to providers by preparing patients for medical examinations and documenting key information into EHR system.
  • Assist providers during examination and procedures.
  • Perform clinical tasks such as administering medications, immunizations, diagnostic testing, and assisting with treatments under provider supervision.
  • Execute essential skills, including blood pressure readings, EKGs, lab test, vision test and specimen collection.
  • Ensure timely patient care by rooming patients promptly and monitoring wait times.
  • Prepare and clean exam rooms.
  • Maintain and sterilize equipment, monitor tracking systems and adhere to OSHA and infection control policies.
  • Schedule referrals, manage phone messages, and coordinate prescription calls under provider guidance.
  • Other duties as assigned, up to and including travel to other locations, and working with adult population that may be required.
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Active LPN licensure or medical assistant school diploma/certification.
  • Minimum of 1 year clinical experience
  • BLS CPR Certification

Physical Requirements:
  • Sitting in a normal seated position.

  • Lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying.
  • Communication skills using the spoken word.
  • Ability to see within normal parameters.
  • Ability to hear within normal range.
  • Ability to frequently move about.
