Remote work is available, though proximity to Albany, NYC, or Rochester is preferred.
The Client Executive (SLED) for the State of New York will drive the relationship development/sales processes and outcomes centered on professional services across all of the agencies and other entities that are part of this client. This includes local government entities within the State including the City of New York, as well as K-12 and Higher Education . The CE (SLED)is the designated ‘face of Indotronix Avani’ and trusted-advisor for our high-priority clients, bringing the talented professionals and leading solutions of Indotronix Avani to solve the client’s most critical challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
•Identify, engage and influence client executives and other key client stakeholders to uncover their objectives and needs, aligning Indotronix Avani services and solutions offerings with potential opportunities
•Build relationships with key client executives, including assisting and coordinating overall relationship management activities of the broader account team with the client
•Lead development and execution of strategic and tactical plans that address achieving relationship and sales/business development objectives
•Identify, engage, and manage relationships and activities with a broad array of vendor partners who Indotronix Avani may potentially collaborate and team with during the sales process with the State of New York client
•Coordinate and inform the efforts of Indotronix Avani’s internal teams engaged with the account throughout the sales cycle (qualifying, pursuing and closing opportunities)
•Provide a leadership role during the proposal development process including a focus on response strategy, quality review(s), and compliance
•Participate in and represent Indotronix Avani at key marketplace events relevant to the State of New York client and market
•Coordinate with Indotronix Avani’s Marketing Team to drive client-specific branding and other marketing initiatives
•Maintain/manage opportunity data using appropriate tools (CRM)
•Monitor and administer Indotronix Avani’s New York contract vehicles and disadvantaged business certifications
Essential Qualifications:
•5+ years of experience as a business development and/or relationship manager with at least some of that experience with state and/or local government clients
•Demonstrated ability in relationship building with C-Level client executives, as well as ability to leverage an existing network of client executive relationships
•Sales and capture management experience with information technology
•Conversant in trends in IT and business relevant to the State of New York public sector
•Executive-level presence – credible, authentic, intelligent, articulate, professional, and trustworthy
•Strong ability to carry out tasks with very little supervision as an independent contributor
•Resides within reasonable commuting proximity to the client geography (Albany, NY and New York, NY)
Preferred Qualifications:
•State and/or local government business development experience, particularly with the State of New York
•Sales experience focused on IT professional services or products
•Track record of orchestrating complex sales deals with outcomes that demonstrate ability to consistently drive revenue across a portfolio of IT offerings
•Strong knowledge of competitive landscape and vendor teaming ecosystem
•Bachelor’s Degree
