About the Role
We are seeking a highly creative and experienced Art Supervisor join our thriving team. The ideal candidate is a conceptual thinker with a passion for healthcare advertising and a proven ability to develop innovative and effective visual solutions across various platforms. At Ogilvy Health, Art Supervisors are viewed as vital to team success for their ability to create, direct and represent outstanding creative works. They prove themselves to be invested beyond their core creative responsibilities by demonstrating a heightened sensitivity/understanding of the strategic imperatives and market dynamics.
What You'll Do
  • Conceptualize and execute visually compelling designs for a variety of healthcare clients and target audiences, including physicians, patients, and payers.
  • Collaborate with copy supervisors, account managers, and medical strategists to develop integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (print, digital, video, social media).
  • Ensure all visual materials are scientifically accurate, compliant with regulatory guidelines (e.g., FDA, AMA), and adhere to brand style guidelines.
  • Present creative work to clients and internal stakeholders, effectively articulating the strategic rationale behind the design choices.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Participate in new business pitches, contributing to the development of winning proposals.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in healthcare advertising and design.
  • Proactively identify and resolve any issues that may impact the quality or delivery of work.

What You'll Need
  • Minimum 5 years of art direction/design experience in a healthcare advertising agency.
  • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of visual design work in healthcare, demonstrating a clear understanding of the industry and its unique challenges, as well as strong conceptual thinking and art direction skills.
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, XD) and other relevant design software, specifically Figma.
  • Excellent understanding of design principles, typography, layout, and color theory.
  • Ability to think strategically and conceptually, translating complex scientific information into visually engaging communications.
  • Presentation and communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate design rationale and provide constructive feedback.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Veeva Vault PromoMats is a plus.

The base salary range for this position at the time of this posting is indicated below.
