Offsite Superintendent

Riverside, CA

A growing construction company is seeking an Offsite Superintendent to oversee site development activities for master planned residential community projects throughout the Riverside area.

This individual will be responsible for managing the field execution of land clearing, grading, underground utility installation, and offsite improvements while ensuring projects stay on schedule, within budget, and compliant with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily field operations for residential land development projects
  • Manage site clearing, grading, excavation, and utility installation activities
  • Coordinate installation of wet and dry utilities including sewer, storm drain, water, gas, electrical, and telecom
  • Work closely with subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, municipalities, and project management teams
  • Maintain project schedules and ensure milestones are achieved
  • Conduct site walks and enforce quality control and safety standards
  • Review plans, specifications, and civil drawings
  • Coordinate inspections and utility tie-ins
  • Identify and resolve field issues proactively
  • Monitor subcontractor performance and productivity
  • Maintain accurate daily reports and project documentation
Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience as a Superintendent in land development, civil construction, or residential community development
  • Strong knowledge of underground utilities and offsite improvements
