Position Overview

A growing outsourced accounting firm is seeking a client-focused Account Lead to own client relationships from onboarding through ongoing account management. This role is responsible for ensuring exceptional client service, overseeing financial deliverables, coordinating offshore teams, and maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and accountability.

The ideal candidate is an experienced accounting professional who combines strong technical knowledge with excellent communication skills, sound judgment, and the ability to proactively manage multiple client accounts. This is a hands-on role for someone who thrives in a collaborative, fast-paced environment and enjoys building long-term client partnerships.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • 3–5+ years of accounting or client-facing financial services experience

  • Experience managing client relationships and overseeing accounting or AP workflows

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting

  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or similar accounting software

  • Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills

  • Proven ability to delegate work, review deliverables, and manage offshore or remote teams

  • Experience within an outsourced accounting or advisory firm is highly preferred

  • Reliable, proactive, and solutions-oriented with excellent judgment

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned client accounts
