Job description

The Derivatives Middle Office Trade Support Associate/AVP will be responsible for supporting all the firm’s Fixed Income businesses; but especially the Rates Trading and Sales Desks performing trade checkout and verification for securities and derivatives. Perform US Treasury Auctions and other Fed Open Market Operations. Provide trade floor support functions ensuring the proper lifecycle of the trade. This person will be responsible for handling all Middle Office operational functions providing trade and sales support for Flow Products desks including Rates, Credit, Commercial Paper, Syndicate, Structured Products, Repo and Financing desks, Equity Trading, and Institutional Investor Sales Desk.


  • Provide end-to-end trade and sales support for Global Markets businesses including Rates, Credit, Structured Products, Commercial Paper, Equities, FX, Repo, and Securities Lending
  • Ensure timely and accurate trade capture, verification, and lifecycle management across all the supported asset classes
  • Partner closely with Trading and Sales desks to resolve booking issues, allocations, and trade discrepancies in real time
  • Monitor and reconcile trading activity, identifying and resolving breaks, mismatches, and exceptions across internal systems and external platforms
  • Oversee trade flow through key market infrastructures and platforms, ensuring completeness and accuracy of downstream processing
  • Support critical market operations including US Treasury Auctions and Buybacks
  • Coordinate closely with Settlements, Product Control, Credit Risk, and external counterparties to ensure smooth trade settlement and issue resolution
  • Manage client and internal queries related to trade activity, confirmations, and settlements in a timely and professional manner
  • Maintain oversight of intraday and end-of-day controls, including trade balancing, reconciliation, and exception management
  • Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and strengthening of operational controls


Qualifications

  • Degree or equivalent work experience equally preferable. Degree in Business or Finance a plus.
  • 5–10+ years of Derivatives Middle Office / Trade Support experience.
  • Strong product expertise across Rates and/or Equity Derivatives.
  • Deep understanding of derivatives trade lifecycle within Middle Office.
  • Hands‑on experience with systems such as MarkitWire, Bloomberg, and Murex
  • Proven ability to manage escalations, interact with senior stakeholders, and operate in a fast‑paced trading environment.


The typical base pay range for this role is between $101K - $122K depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
