Job description

Location: Hybrid - 2-3 days per week in our Hackensack, NJ office with shuttle support for NYC-based employees

Compensation: $160,000-$190,000, depending on experience

Reporting to: Global PMO Lead (with a dotted-line reporting relationship to the Global Head of Product & Portfolio and North America Head of Marketing)

About the Role

At Flora Food Group, we believe that sustainable growth comes from delivering fewer, better ideas with excellence. As we continue to accelerate our innovation agenda across North America, we're looking for a PMO Manager to build and embed a fit-for-purpose PMO capability that enables disciplined, high-quality execution across our innovation and portfolio programs.

This is a highly visible role that sits at the intersection of strategy and execution. Working closely with Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Finance, Procurement, Quality, and Operations, you'll establish the processes, governance, and ways of working that ensure our innovation and portfolio initiatives are delivered on time, in full, and with clear accountability.

As the executional backbone of the North America innovation agenda, you'll create transparency around project status, risks, dependencies, and resource requirements, helping teams move faster and make better decisions.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building structure, driving alignment across complex organizations, and creating a PMO capability that will scale with the business.

What You'll Do

Build and Embed PMO Excellence

  • Design and implement the North America PMO framework, aligned with global Product & Portfolio standards while meeting local business needs.
  • Establish consistent ways of working across innovation and portfolio initiatives, including governance, milestone tracking, stage-gate management, and reporting.
  • Create effective governance forums, project drumbeats, and escalation processes that drive accountability and action.
  • Ensure high-quality project and portfolio data, reporting, and execution visibility across the organization.

Lead End-to-End Project Orchestration

  • Own the planning and coordination of priority innovation and portfolio initiatives from concept through launch and post-launch review.
  • Develop integrated project plans that align commercial objectives, market windows, manufacturing timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Identify critical paths, dependencies, risks, and potential roadblocks, proactively driving mitigation plans and escalations where required.
  • Facilitate regular project reviews, ensuring clear actions, ownership, and follow-through.
  • In time, support value creation and savings initiatives alongside innovation projects.

Drive Cross-Functional Execution

  • Act as the central coordination point across Marketing, R&D, Supply Chain, Quality, Finance, Procurement, and Operations.
  • Ensure teams deliver required inputs, milestones, and commitments on time.
  • Prepare leadership updates and governance materials that clearly communicate project status, risks, decisions, and delivery confidence.
  • Continuously improve execution practices, delivery performance, and speed-to-market.

Build Capability for the Future

  • Support the development of the North America PMO capability, including tools, templates, playbooks, and best practices.
  • Contribute to building a scalable PMO structure as the organization grows.
  • Champion a culture of accountability, collaboration, execution excellence, and continuous improvement.

About You

You are a highly organized project and portfolio management professional who thrives in complex, fast-moving environments. You bring structure to ambiguity, influence without authority, and have a track record of driving successful execution across cross-functional teams.

You're equally comfortable operating at a strategic level with senior leaders and diving into the operational details needed to keep projects moving forward.

Experience & Qualifications

  • 5-10+ years of experience in PMO, project management, program management, or portfolio management roles within FMCG, CPG, food, consumer goods, or similarly complex environments.
  • Proven experience establishing, improving, or scaling PMO practices and project governance frameworks.
  • Strong experience managing end-to-end innovation of new products, portfolio, transformation, or commercialization initiatives.
  • Experience owning project reporting, dashboard management, governance processes, and portfolio data quality.
  • Strong understanding of stage-gate processes, innovation lifecycles, and launch readiness management.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders and drive accountability across functions without direct authority.
  • PMP, PRINCE2, Agile, or SAFe certification is required.

Key Capabilities

  • Excellent project planning, prioritization, and execution skills.
  • Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to build scalable and practical processes.
  • Outstanding communication and facilitation skills.
  • High level of accountability and ownership.
  • Pragmatic, solution-oriented approach to problem-solving.
  • Resilient and adaptable in a dynamic business environment.
  • Comfortable balancing strategic thinking with operational execution.

Ways of Working

  • Action-oriented and focused on outcomes.
  • Brings clarity and simplification to complex situations.
  • Comfortable switching between the big picture and the operational detail.
  • Passionate about enabling others to succeed.
  • Values transparency, collaboration, follow-through, and continuous improvement.
