Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Regional Business Office Manager (RBOM) to oversee business office operations across multiple facilities within our Eastern region. This role is responsible for ensuring accurate billing, efficient revenue cycle management, and compliance with all regulatory and company standards. The RBOM will work closely with facility teams to drive financial performance and operational consistency.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to Business Office Managers across multiple locations

  • Ensure timely and accurate billing for Medicare, Medicaid, managed care, and private pay accounts

  • Monitor accounts receivable (AR) and implement strategies to reduce aging and improve cash flow

  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with federal, state, and company policies

  • Train, mentor, and support facility-based business office staff

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative leaders to resolve billing and reimbursement issues

  • Analyze financial reports and identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement

  • Assist with budget planning, forecasting, and revenue cycle optimization initiatives

  • Lead process improvement efforts and implement best practices across the region

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 5+ years of experience in healthcare business office operations, preferably in long-term care or skilled nursing

  • 2+ years of multi-site or regional management experience preferred

  • Strong knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and managed care billing processes

  • Proven track record of improving AR, collections, and operational efficiency

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to travel regularly within the region
