White Blossom Care Center is a premier 153-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility located in San Jose, California. We provide 24/7 skilled nursing care alongside a state-of-the-art rehabilitation gym where our licensed therapists personalize rehabilitation plans for short-term recovery and long-term care. Position Summary

We are looking for an energetic, organized, and compassionate Rehab Aide to support our physical, occupational, and speech therapy teams. In this role, you will work directly under the supervision of licensed therapists to prepare treatment areas, transport residents safely to and from the therapy gym, perform clerical duties, and assist with non-clinical resident care. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in healthcare, sports medicine, physical therapy, or occupational therapy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport residents safely from their rooms to the rehabilitation gym and return them after treatment.

  • Prepare, clean, and sanitize therapy equipment, treatment tables, and gym areas between resident sessions to maintain strict infection control standards.

  • Assist licensed therapists (PT, PTA, OT, OTA, SLP) with patient positioning and safeguarding during exercises or transfers as directed.

  • Perform administrative and clerical tasks, including organizing files, tracking inventory, and managing therapy schedules.

  • Maintain a warm, encouraging, and positive environment for residents undergoing rehabilitation.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

  • Experience: Experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or medical office is preferred but not required; we are willing to train the right candidate.

  • Certifications: Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).

  • Physical Demands: Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, lift/move therapy equipment, and safely assist with patient transfers and transport (pushing wheelchairs).

  • Skills: Strong communication skills, excellent time management, a high level of empathy, and a strong work ethic.
