Overview

This position plans, designs, and implements professional development programs for faculty, staff, and administrators, partnering with campus departments to deliver workshops, orientation, and leadership development initiatives. It manages program logistics, resources, and continuous improvement efforts, while evaluating effectiveness through participation metrics and maintaining key learning platforms like the HR Employee Hub and LMS. The role also provides ongoing support to core HR operations.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, design, and implement professional development opportunities for faculty, staff, and administrators.
  • Manage workshops, new employee orientation, leadership development programs, and other employee learning initiatives. Partner with campus departments to assess professional development needs and develop learning solutions that support institutional goals.
  • Manage event logistics, communications, registration, attendance tracking, and program follow-up. Develop, implement, and continuously improve professional development programs and employee growth initiatives.
  • Design, maintain, and update training resources, procedures, presentations, and related learning materials.
  • Manage Human Resources projects and organizational initiatives related to employee learning and development, while evaluating current practices and researching emerging trends to strengthen program offerings.
  • Manage project timelines, priorities, and deliverables to ensure successful implementation of professional development programs.
  • Analyze participation metrics and employee feedback to evaluate program effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement; maintain and enhance the HR Employee Hub, LMS, and related learning resources.

Qualifications

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required.
  • At least three years of experience in professional development, organizational development, employee training, Human Resources, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating multiple projects, initiatives, and events simultaneously is preferred.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Requirements

  • Experience designing, implementing, and evaluating employee learning and professional development programs.
  • Ability to exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions.
  • Experience using Learning Management Systems (LMS), SharePoint, and other learning technologies.
