Job description

This is Adyen
Adyen provides payments, data, and financial products in a single solution for customers like Meta, Uber, H&M, and Microsoft - making us the financial technology platform of choice. At Adyen, everything we do is engineered for ambition.
For our teams, we create an environment with opportunities for our people to succeed, backed by the culture and support to ensure they are enabled to truly own their careers. We are motivated individuals who tackle unique technical challenges at scale and solve them as a team. Together, we deliver innovative and ethical solutions that help businesses achieve their ambitions faster.
About the Team
As a (Senior) Platform Offering Manager within the Global Commercial Strategy team, you will help own and drive the global go-to-market strategy and execution for Adyen's platforms and marketplace customers. These are some of the world's largest enablers of commerce globally such as Lightspeed, Fresha, and Vinted providing embedded finance solutions for millions of small businesses and independent sellers.
The role is a part of the broader Commercial Strategy & GTM team at Adyen. Our team mission is to position Adyen as the global fintech infrastructure leader and to grow our commercial success within and across our key verticals. This team sits at the intersection of Product and Commercial, allowing you to be the connective tissue between the two.
About the Role
In partnership with the Head of Platforms (to which this role reports to), this role is responsible for Adyen's long-term strategy, product offering, customer satisfaction, and overall performance for the segment. The person in this role will ensure the health and growth of the business by resolving current friction points, identifying new opportunities, and driving change through stakeholders across the organization.
This role will contribute to driving the commercial strategy and revenue growth initiatives for net new business acquisition as well as growth of existing customers. You will partner with the team to understand and advocate for product needs and feedback from this customer segment, informed by collaboration with Vertical teams, regular customer conversations, and feedback from the broader stakeholder teams.
The ideal candidate will have experience running a structured approach to owning end-to-end business impact from diagnostic, to solutioning, to execution. They should also have demonstrated experience working hands-on in ambiguous and fast-paced environments. In this role, they will need to quickly develop deep understanding, zoom out and think strategically, validate their ideas quantitatively, and influence a large network of senior stakeholders.
What you'll do
  1. Offering Commercialization
  • Strategic Packaging: You will create and evolve Adyen's Offering, ensuring it is scalable across verticals and regions.
  • Bundling & Narrative: You will own the commercial value proposition, product bundling, on a highest level "what" we sell and "why".
  • Future-Proofing: You are expected to anticipate future customer and commercial needs and evolve your offering area in line with broader strategy, market and regulatory shifts
  1. Customer Insights & Product Prioritization
  • Customer Centricity: build direct customer relationships. Speaking to customers is a top priority for you to inform your strategies and help land meaningful business. You will need to support Verticals' point of view with feedback you get directly from customers and from Sales and AMs.
  • Pattern Recognition: You will identify cross-market and cross-vertical patterns in customer feedback and convert them into clear, data-driven product recommendations.
  • Customer and Revenue impact: You will have ongoing partnership with Product Leadership to inform roadmap decisions, advocating for development that drives adoption and value creation across the customer portfolio.
  1. Go-to-Market (GTM) & Commercial Enablement
  • GTM Execution: You will partner with Commercial leads to execute the Go-to-Market strategy for your offering, ensuring a strong feedback loop.
  • Global Enablement: You will collaborate closely with Product Marketing, Commercial Academy and the Business Performance team on the creation of necessary enablement for commercial teams.
  • Vertical Alignment: You will maintain a close partnership with the Vertical teams to ensure systematic cross-vertical insights, aligning your GTM execution with specific industry needs.

Who you are
  • 7+ years of experience, ideally combining a Consulting / Investment Banking background with hands-on ownership at a technology company
  • Expertise in payments or financial technology is a plus but not necessary
  • Ability to navigate ambiguity and thrive in a fast-paced environment, bringing structure and clarity across a wide group of stakeholders
  • You are customer-centric at your core and have experience building and maintaining external relationships with customers and partners
  • Experience and passion for go-to-market strategy & execution, with proven ability to develop unique perspectives backed by data, and ability to navigate and tackle complex blockers to achieve commercial goals
  • Can package various customer feedback into tangible, data-driven business cases that will drive influence
  • Strong communication skills to influence internal stakeholders across commercial, operations, compliance, and product and be an Adyen ambassador externally
  • Available to travel up to 15% of the time, including internationally

Other details:
  • This role is based out of our New York City office. We are an office-first company and value in-person collaboration; we do not offer remote-only roles
