Innovation Food Services is looking for a dependable, hands-on Food Production Line Lead to help guide daily production operations. This person will work alongside the team while keeping the line organized, productive, safe, and on schedule.This is a working lead position for someone who is ready to take ownership of daily line performance, support team members, reinforce expectations, and communicate production concerns to management.

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily food production line activities
  • Assign team members to workstations based on production needs
  • Monitor workflow, pace, quality, and productivity
  • Ensure products are assembled, portioned, packaged, and labeled correctly
  • Reinforce recipes, production procedures, portion standards, and food safety requirements
  • Train and guide team members on proper procedures and expectations
  • Keep the line supplied, organized, and moving efficiently
  • Identify production, staffing, material, equipment, or quality concerns
  • Communicate issues and team performance observations to supervisors
  • Help resolve routine production issues and minimize downtime
  • Maintain cleanliness, sanitation, and workplace safety standards
  • Work alongside the team as needed while maintaining leadership of the line

Qualifications

  • Previous food production, kitchen, packaging, or line leadership experience preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to lead by example and keep others focused
  • Dependable, accountable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
