Job description

M&K Truck Centers is one of the largest and fastest-growing regional Mack and Volvo commercial truck and parts dealerships in the Midwest.

We are seeking an Outside Parts Sales Representative who enjoys relationship-based selling, values long-term customer partnerships, and is equally comfortable expanding business through new customer development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow an assigned territory by supporting existing accounts and building new customer relationships

  • Develop long-term partnerships through consistent customer contact and solution-based selling

  • Proactively seek and develop new business opportunities through prospecting, referrals, and market awareness

  • Sell OEM truck parts for Mack and Volvo, with a strong focus on meeting customer parts needs quickly and accurately

  • Proactively call on fleet customers, repair facilities, owner-operators, and other prospective accounts

  • Drive sales growth through relationship-based selling, regular customer visits, and consistent follow-up

  • Identify new customers and expand wallet share within existing accounts

  • Stay current on Mack and Volvo parts offerings, product updates, and promotions

  • Promote OEM parts programs, pricing initiatives, and dealership-supported specials

  • Accurately write parts orders, ensure proper pricing, and confirm availability

  • Partner closely with the inside parts team to ensure excellent customer execution and fulfillment

  • Provide management with key customer insights, territory feedback, and market intelligence

  • Meet or exceed territory sales goals, market penetration objectives, and profitability expectations

  • Represent M&K Truck Centers professionally and consistently in the field


What we are looking for

  • A relationship-focused sales professional who also enjoys developing new business

  • Experience in heavy-duty truck parts or automotive parts sales

  • Strong working knowledge of commercial vehicles, diesel parts, OEM and aftermarket products

  • 3–5+ years of outside sales or direct customer-facing experience

  • Excellent communication, listening, and relationship-building skills

  • Strong time management and organizational habits

  • Comfortable with CRM systems and computer-based sales tools

  • Self-motivated, dependable, and customer-focused
