S3 International (S3I) is seeking a Deputy General Manager (DGM) to join the corporate team at our HQ in Cummings Research Park, Huntsville, AL.  The DGM will support existing contract execution, strategy for growth, proposal task development, pricing, and recruitment.  The DGM will be experienced in support of aviation pilot training and maintenance. Shipley style management of waterfall, pipeline, and proposal team for achieving growth targets.

There is a $10,000.00 hire-in bonus.

Description:

Responsible for management of OCONUS contracts executing in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in support of aviation pilot training and maintenance.

Primary Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Accountable for direct management and P/L of FMS and DCS contracts.
  • Plans, staffs, organizes, budgets, and directs assigned contract executions.  Responsible for employment of staff to contract specifications, training, motivation, discipline, and performance evaluation of assigned employees.
  • Serves as primary customer point of contact for assigned contracts.
  • Regularly interfaces with customer to maintain open communications to expand business.
  • Manages proposals and coordinates proposal efforts with the S3 Publications Department.
  • Develops Corporate contact plans; schedules/facilitates executive contact with key customers; develops key messages and talking points as needed.
  • Prepares Corporate Business Development literature (capability briefs, corporate briefings, brochures, advertisements, and other marketing materials).
  • Utilizes an opportunity tracking system such as NextStage.
  • Uses competitive intelligence, market information, intimate customer knowledge, and business skills to develop customer value propositions to further corporate strategic interests.

   Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree with 20 years of relevant federal contract capture management, and contract execution experience. Master's Degree preferred.
  • 5 years of experience performing in quality-controlled environment such as ISO/AS9100. 
  • 10 years of experience as a DOW technical services contract capture manager.
  • 2 years of experience with Government Relations, JVs, Federal Appropriations, OTAs, and FMS.
  • 3 years of experience managing FMS/DCS OCONUS aviation pilot training and maintenance contracts.
  • 5 years of operational experience in OCONUS aviation training, establishing operations and infrastructure in the initiation of a new task.
