Night Auditor
Ocean Place Resort & Spa

Full-Time | Overnight Shift | Non-Exempt
Join Our Team and Be the Heart of Our Overnight Operations
Ocean Place Resort & Spa is seeking a detail-oriented and service-focused Night Auditor to join our Front Office team. This critical overnight role combines exceptional guest service with financial accuracy, ensuring the hotel operates smoothly while guests enjoy a seamless experience.
The ideal candidate is dependable, professional, and comfortable balancing financial responsibilities with front desk operations. If you enjoy working independently, providing outstanding hospitality, and being an essential part of the guest experience, we'd love to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Guest Service Excellence
  • Welcome guests with professionalism and warmth during overnight hours.
  • Process guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accurately.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests, concerns, and billing inquiries.
  • Provide information regarding hotel amenities, services, and local attractions.
  • Assist guests with internet access, wake-up calls, and special requests.
  • Take and process Fresh Bites orders and coordinate guest needs with appropriate departments.
Night Audit & Financial Responsibilities
  • Complete all nightly audit procedures and end-of-day financial processes.
  • Balance and reconcile Front Desk, Rooms, and Food & Beverage revenue.
  • Post charges, process adjustments, corrections, paid-outs, and miscellaneous transactions.
  • Verify cash, credit card, debit card, and other payment transactions for accuracy.
  • Run required reports and backups and ensure all revenue balances prior to closing the business day.
  • Maintain accurate records and support financial integrity across hotel operations.
Operational Support
  • Review Front Desk communications and logbooks for shift updates and special requests.
  • Maintain awareness of room availability, rates, packages, and promotions.
  • Coordinate with Security, Housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Respond appropriately to emergencies and unusual situations in accordance with hotel procedures.
  • Prepare contingency and emergency preparedness reports as required.
Qualifications
Preferred Experience
  • Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or Front Desk experience preferred.
  • Prior Night Audit experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience handling cash, balancing reports, and processing financial transactions.
  • Familiarity with hotel property management systems is a plus.
Skills & Competencies
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and make sound decisions during overnight hours.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Comfortable working with computers and hotel management software.

Schedule Requirements
  • Must be available to work overnight shifts.
  • Flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and varying schedules as business needs require.

  • Ability to stand, walk, or sit for extended periods during a shift.
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 10 pounds without assistance.
  • Ability to bend, twist, reach, and move throughout the property as needed.
  • Ability to respond quickly to guest and operational needs during overnight hours.
