We are looking for a Field Service Technician to perform repairs and maintenance on large and small format machines (Oce, Canon, HP and Xerox), ensuring efficient service and solutions at customer sites and within our ARC offices in Seattle, Washington.

Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: $25 – $32/hour (depending on experience)

What You’ll Do:
  • Assemble and install large and small format machines, including all accessories and associated software, ensuring full operational readiness
  • Accurately diagnose, repair, and maintain large and small format hardware and software, ensuring optimal operating conditions based on manufacturer specifications
  • Record service calls, including materials used and resolutions, in the Fleet Manager system
  • Coordinate with the Service Manager and Service Dispatch to schedule and prioritize daily field service calls
  • Assist with and participate in new Facilities Management/MPS customer installations and removals to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Participate in customer site visits and meetings to complete accurate site surveys
  • Monitor and report inventory levels to prevent service interruptions
  • Prepare and maintain operational reports to ensure accuracy and efficiency
  • Travel to customer locations to install, maintain, and/or remove large and small format equipment
  • Respond to emergency service requests by diagnosing issues, completing repairs, and/or recommending solutions
  • Maintain established departmental processes and recommend improvements (e.g., supply changes or equipment disposal)
  • Continuously update job knowledge through training, re-certification, and educational opportunities
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers and vendors
  • Provide customers with clear, proactive communication regarding service issues

What We’re Looking For:
  • High school diploma required; Associate’s degree preferred
  • 3–5 years of related field experience in technical managed print services/facilities, including installing, maintaining, and removing large and small format machines at customer sites. Prior experience with Oce, Canon, HP and Xerox equipment preferred
  • Copier/plotter repair experience preferred
  • Relevant technical certifications are a plus
  • Ability to travel within the Greater Seattle area
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal skills
  • Proven problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe and Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to lift, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds
