Facility:Dayton Children's - Main CampusDepartment:Employee Experience - Employee Health & WellnessSchedule:Full timeHours:36Job Details:The Employee Health Nurse Case Manager, Workers' Compensation administers and coordinates the workers' compensation program for Dayton Children's Hospital. This position provides clinical case management, injury triage, restricted-duty and return-to-work coordination, documentation support, and regulatory recordkeeping. The role partners with injured employees, department leaders, the third-party administrator, treating providers, Employee Health, Safety, Human Resources/Employee Experience, and the Healthy Way Clinic to support timely care, accurate claim administration, and safe return to work.
The position also supports OSHA injury and illness recordkeeping, blood and body fluid exposure follow-up, pre-placement and surveillance health activities, fitness-for-duty coordination, employee education, and wellness activities.

Department Specific Job Details:

Education
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing or related healthcare field preferred

Experience

  • 3+ years nursing experience with occupational health, employee health, case management, or related clinical experience required

  • 3-5 years workers' compensation case management and/or occupational health experience in a healthcare setting preferred

Certifications

  • Current Ohio Registered Nurse license required

  • Current BLS required

  • Occupational health, case management, or workers' compensation-related certification preferred

Skill/Competencies
