The following services are offered by our department: Drug amp; Alcohol Testing, Education Sessions, Employee Assistance Program, Hearing Conservation Program, Physical Examinations, Wilson Onsite Wellness, Worksite Health amp; Injury Management.
Job Summary: The Occupational Health Registered Nurse is responsible to maintain their professional skills and continue to advance their level of expertise in the field of Occupational Health amp; Safety and case management to provide professional health service to clients in accordance with company specific and statutory regulations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Assist Physicians and anticipate duties that need to be performed.
  • Strive to make physician as efficient and effective as possible.
  • Greet patients and assist patients to examination rooms.
  • Obtains and accurately records vital signs, medical concerns, current medication, and allergies.
  • Educates patients/family members on topics related to the patient's medical conditions and care with guidelines established by the physician.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Certification as a Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant or LPN diploma
  • 2 years of experience working in the medical field as a medical assistant or LPN preferred
  • Occupational Health experience highly preferred
