As a Medical Assistant at Women's Health Arizona, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support to our patients. Responsibilities:

  • Patient Care: Assist OBGYN physicians and other healthcare providers in providing comprehensive care to patients. Escort patients to exam rooms, obtain vital signs, and assist with medical history documentation. Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including pelvic exams, pap smears, and ultrasounds. Provide patient education on women's health topics, including contraception, prenatal care, and menopause management. Perform basic laboratory tests, such as urinalysis and pregnancy tests, and accurately record results in patient charts.
  • Administrative Duties: Schedule patient appointments and manage the clinic's appointment calendar efficiently. Maintain electronic medical records (EMR) and ensure accurate documentation of patient information, including medical history, medications, and allergies. Handle patient inquiries, phone calls, and messages promptly and professionally. Assist with insurance verification, billing, and coding processes as needed.
  • Clinical Support: Assist healthcare providers during examinations, procedures, and surgeries as required.
