Job description

Job Summary:
NYSERDA is a leader in advancing New York’s energy transition, partnering with various stakeholders to foster a clean energy economy. The Project Manager, Residential Program Systems Owner will manage digital systems builds, ensuring effective integration of program rules and processes while liaising between the program team and IT departments.
Responsibilities:
• Work with the program team to define business goals, program procedures, and policy that will need to be integrated into digital systems design.
• Oversee transition of NY Home Energy Portal from legacy digital systems to a new program application and workflow platform within NYSERDA’s Salesforce environment; including systems development management for business requirement development, project and sprint development management, and user acceptance test planning and execution.
• Provide operational support for the program team by intaking and triaging support requests for existing systems, managing staff resource workload and output, monitor, maintain, and address issues with systems integrations, troubleshoot and resolve issues with individual systems, and provide knowledge transfer to the team.
• Liaison between the program, Salesforce Solutions, and IT teams to manage ongoing and future projects.
• Contribute to a team culture of openness and collaboration.
• Perform all job responsibilities with respect, fairness, consistency, and inclusion.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor's degree and 5 years' of relevant experience working in computer science, project planning, business administration, public policy
• Understanding of Salesforce architecture and the ability to translate business requirements for Salesforce developers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong project management background with exceptional organizational, time management and planning skills to successfully handle multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications and Asana.
• Demonstrated problem-solving with a proactive and collaborative style.
• Ability and appetite to learn and assimilate new information and think holistically through complex problems with technical and non-technical components.
• Track record for building effective partnerships, facilitating consensus-building among multiple stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and cross-functionally with other teams.
Preferred:
• Master’s degree and 4 years of experience working in computer science, project planning, business administration, public policy
• Working Knowledge of NYSERDA’s Home Modernization programs.
• General Building Science knowledge with a focus on weatherization.
