Job Summary and Qualifications

The Foodย andย Nutrition Food Serviceย Workerย Iย will beย a competent Support services employee whoย is responsible forย the cleanliness, organization, and distribution of food and supplies in the Food & Nutrition Department. Demonstrates the ability to perform specific competencies as listed on the Competency Checklist. Meets mutually agreed upon performance goals/objectivesย establishedย annually as listed on the performance management plan. ย ย 


  • Utilizes systems/processes to ensure patient safety, infection control practices, department security & HIPPA guidelines.ย 
  • Maintain and adhere to Food & Nutritionโ€™s uniform and personal appearance standards at all timeย 
  • Utilizes proper processes to achieve patient,ย customerย & physicianย satisfaction goals. ย 
  • Foster a culture of commitment to the HCA vision, mission, and values of the organization. ย 

What qualifications you will need:ย 


  • High School Graduate\Equivalent preferredย 
  • 1 + years of experience in healthcare preferredย 
  • Food Handlers orย ServSafeย Certificate withinย 90 daysย of hireย
