The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian (RD) Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead and oversee the facilityโ€™s clinical nutrition program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality nutritional care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nutrition professional looking to join a collaborative healthcare team focused on resident-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the facilityโ€™s clinical nutrition program
  • Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor residentsโ€™ nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, dietary staff, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility dietary regulations and standards
  • Review and approve therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements
  • Participate in care plan meetings and quality assurance activities
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Supervise and support dietary and nutrition services staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Active Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license required
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting preferred
