The Pearl at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation & Nursing Center is seeking an experienced and motivated Registered Dietitian (RD) Clinical Nutrition Manager to lead and oversee the facility’s clinical nutrition program. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring residents receive high-quality nutritional care while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nutrition professional looking to join a collaborative healthcare team focused on resident-centered care and clinical excellence.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and manage the facility’s clinical nutrition program
  • Complete comprehensive nutritional assessments and develop individualized care plans
  • Monitor residents’ nutritional status and recommend appropriate interventions
  • Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, speech therapy, dietary staff, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and facility dietary regulations and standards
  • Review and approve therapeutic diets and nutritional supplements
  • Participate in care plan meetings and quality assurance activities
  • Provide nutrition education and counseling to residents and families
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
  • Assist with survey preparedness and regulatory compliance initiatives
  • Supervise and support dietary and nutrition services staff as needed
Qualifications
  • Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required
  • Active Florida Dietitian/Nutritionist license required
  • Previous experience in a skilled nursing facility, rehabilitation center, or long-term care setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of clinical nutrition, regulatory compliance, and healthcare documentation
