The Director of Nutrition Services (Journey) supports skilled nursing facilities by providing hands-on guidance and oversight to dietary departments. This role assists with menu development, food ordering, regulatory compliance, and operational improvements to ensure high-quality nutrition and dining services for residents. The position partners closely with onsite teams to drive consistency, efficiency, and a positive dining experience across locations.
Responsibilities:
  • Menu and Nutrition planning: Development of nutritional programs
  • Operational Management: Budgeting, purchasing, and ensuring compliance with state laws
  • Leadership: Hiring, training, and managing care team
  • Quality Control

Qualifications:
  • Must have CDM or be a Registered Dietitian
  • Previous long term care experience
  • Must be able to travel 75%
