The School Nutrition Program Coordinator provides leadership and oversight for The Oaks Academy's school nutrition program across three campuses, ensuring a high-quality, student-centered dining experience that supports student health, learning, and wellbeing.
Working closely with the Chief Operations Officer, Food Service Management Company, school leadership, teachers, and families, the Coordinator oversees compliance with Indiana Department of Education, USDA Child Nutrition Program requirements, and school wellness policies while driving continuous improvement in meal quality, student participation, operational performance, and nutrition education.
The Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the school and the Food Service Management Company, providing oversight of contract performance, regulatory compliance, financial accountability, meal quality, and program evaluation.
