  • Lovelace UNM Rehabilitation Hospital includes state-of-the-art rehabilitation services for patients recovering from health care conditions. It is the only rehabilitation hospital in the state accredited in six programs by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities.
Responsibilities
  • The nurse manager will promote the mission and values of the organization and be an active advocate of providing quality patient care, excellent customer service and efficient health care.
  • As a member of the management team, the nurse manager will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning and program development in order to deliver efficient, effective and quality patient care.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
  • Bachelor's in Nursing from an accredited school is required. Effective 9/1/19 if the applicant does not have a BSN - must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with the scheduled date of completion.
  • Current RN license or current license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • Facility/unit-specific certifications
Preferred Job Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3-5 years' clinical nursing experience in area of specialty
