Job description

The Administrator in Training or AIT is a program offered by Regency Integrated Health Services that provides on-the-job training while attending college coursework for individuals who want to become a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing facility. AITs work under the direction of a Preceptor / Licensed Nursing Home Administrator in a skilled nursing facility.
The AIT will learn about the daily job demands and rewards an LNFA faces. AITs and Administrators will work together to ensure that each resident has the care and resources they need for a pleasant and successful stay in the skilled nursing facility. AITs must have a drive for success and meeting goals, compassion for our residents and families, willingness to be helpful and supportive, flexibility, leadership abilities, strong communication skills, and organization and engaged. During the Internship, the AIT will learn and support each department:Administration Finance / Budgets / Revenue for a Multimillion-Dollar FacilityHuman ResourcesMedicare / Medicaid BillingDietary HousekeepingAdmissions and MarketingCollectionsStaff DevelopmentEnvironmental NursingCorporate Operations

Healthcare and management experience is highly preferred.

Bachelor's Degree is Required

Must be eligible to complete additional college coursework required for a Nursing Home Administrator License while working a full-time schedule.

Will be required to take state and federal exam for LNFA.

Must be willing to relocate across Texas, basedon company needs.
